It took six hours to sort it out. Six hours without a computer. Six hours at work without blogs. It was unbearable.
The situation isn't quite fixed - I can't open my email without ok-ing my way through a series of error messages, my email contacts are nowhere to be found and everything I've worked on since Friday has been lost. Whatever happened to my computer happened before the back-up was finished last night.
So. Long day.
I am really looking forward to reading your blogs tomorrow. I can't wait to read all about your election night / post-election joy.
Blogs can wait until tomorrow. For now I will cuddle my pup and eat my giant slice of chocolate cake and wonder when the hell did McKee pick up an accent and please, oh please, can Marjorie be sent home tonight.
sorry, babes. better luck tomorrow.
ReplyDeletei'm gonna use my captcha word in a sentence, since it's a good one. please forward this to the over thinker.
committing UNCEST means you had sex with someone who REALLY REALLY looks like you, but is in no way related by blood.
Oh man, that's gotta suck. Computer problems are the worst.
ReplyDeleteHave a good evening!
Damn, why didn't i get this captcha for OT???
ReplyDeleteDubion: The new currency of the US.
Have a second slice of cake. It will help. I promise.
Nope, not marjorie...
ReplyDeleteMy channel stopped carrying ANTM so I keep coming to the party late. Have to download it tonight. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteStupid technology. What do you mean blogs are technology? Bah!
ReplyDeleteI hate the disconnected feeling I get without access to the internet, its like I'm missing a limb.
ReplyDeleteWhich is sad, but extremely true.
6 hours without a computer is hell at work. Hopefully today turns out better!
ReplyDeleteOMG seriously, where the hell did that accent come from? She's in Holland for three days and all of sudden she is foreign?
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how much we rely on our computers. It takes a literal meltdown for reality to hit. Hope today is a little better for ya.
ReplyDeleteUgh. Computers really suck sometimes! Is this a PC or Mac? PC right?
ReplyDeleteMarjorie better be gone next or I'm going to have to cut a bitch.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing about Mcky (or however it's spelled)! She absolutely had some sort of bastardized British accent last night that I had never heard before.
ReplyDeleteAnd ugh, Marjorie -- she's just a messy tangle of limbs and insecurity. She has to go.
Jess: Oh my hell. Your word verification is AWESOME.
ReplyDeleteSharon: Computer problems make my head melt.
Meg: It was the last piece!!
Angella: She better go next week!
Ben: Your channel? Like, singular? You have ONE channel? How do you live?
J: I know, right?
Kyla Bea: I know! I felt to lost without it but then I felt ridiculous for missing it so much.
Leftlane: Oh it was torture.
Dutchess: Yes! It was so weird. At first I thought she had a cold or something. Weirdo.
Nilsa: It was terrifying. At first I thought everything was gone but then I remembered my backup.
Marie: Totally a PC.
MLE: Marjorie better go next week or I am DONE with ANTM. Ok that's a lie.
Tiny E: Maybe she's trying to sound less stupid. I think she's gorgeous but every time she speaks I want to hit her. The accent just amplified it though.
Whats wrong with Marjorie?! I bet you anything she's Top 3, the judges LOVE her. Who's your absolute fav? Mine's a tie between McKey and Elina.
ReplyDelete(Hi! I just found your blog and read it all today, because I CANNOT start a blog in the middle. Hope that doesn't make me seem stalkerish?!)
Yeah. I have extra computers to make sure I'm never without one...
ReplyDeletei HATE it when i can't read blogs at work. it makes the day seem soooo long.
