A Ginger Sunset Is My Caress

I've started compiling recipes for my Christmas baking. So far I've decided to make Angella's Whipped Shortbread, Martha Stewart's Rosemary Butter Cookies, and my mom's gingersnaps.

I need some suggestions though. Does anyone have a recipe for lemon shortbread? Does anyone have a fabulous chocolate cookie recipe? What is your favourite Christmas cookie?

  1. Have you ever made baklava? It's one of my very-most favorite things to make around Christmas. Also, I have a really good crispy-spice cookie (awesome with tea and cider). Shoot me an e-mail if you'd like the recipes...P.S. I also have a recipe for a spiced homemade dog biscuit. :) No joke.

  2. Fave cookie: Hello Dolly bars. hands-down. I'm not sure if they're "cookies" in the Biblical sense, but they're good enough for me!

I wish I could help you out with some recipes, but alas I don't even have a kitchen, so my culinary adventures are pretty limited.

  3. Oh these sound great!

I'm going to make ginger molasses cookies this year for something a little spicy and festive - there are plenty of good recipes, it's worth a look!

Maybe pumpkin bread? You know where to find the recipe. :)

  6. I just talked to the Keebler Elves and they feel that you should become a meat & potatoes girl instead of a baker.
If you ladies get fat from baked goodies, will men like you as much?
