And You Can Dangle Your Carrot But I Ain't Gonna Reach For It

Stella was fine when I got home from work last night. Whatever she ate in the garden is no longer affecting her. She was feeling so good that she had no problem doing battle with a carrot. We give Stella fresh vegetables occasionally. Some vegetables she'll eat immediately. Some? She'll fight to the death. For your viewing pleasure (because I cannot be the only person who thinks this is ridiculously cute,) Stella vs the carrot:

Proof that my puppy isn't always a monster:

  3. I WANT YOUR DOG.

Well, my kids want a dog, and I have not been able to figure out what kind *I* like.

It's decided. I want one like Stella! She is too adorable for words.

(I am an idiot. What breed is she?)

  10. Angella: Stella is a beagle x pug (technically a "puggle" but I capital-H Hate that term.)
Her dad is a pug and her mom is a pocket beagle (important, if you want a small dog - there's a big version of beagles too, apparently.)
We wanted a big dog but we have a tiny condo - Stella is perfect because she's small (15lbs right now - won't grow to more than 25lbs ... knock on wood) but doesn't look like a fluffy, yappy small dog.

Over-Thinker: Yes! Or Stelly Belly, if we're feeling extra obnoxious.

  12. I adore "puggles". I have wanted one for a long time. I was wondering where you purchased yours and if you had a good experience? I have looked online, but am a little leery as I am not familiar with any breeders.

  13. What a cutie!

Almost as cute as my border terrier.

She also does battle with vegetables. her favorite is celery but mini carrots also do the trick.
