Blurb Giveaway

I love taking photos. I do not love organizing or printing photos.

Blurb makes it easy to create beautiful photo books. I'd never used Blurb before but in exchange for writing this post I was given a credit to make my own photo book.

I was thoroughly impressed with how easy it was; once I downloaded the bookmaking software I was able to just drop my photos into a template. The hardest part of the whole process was deciding which photos to use.

Blurb has generally offered to give one of my (Canadian) readers a $35 credit to create your own book. Just leave me a comment below and I'll randomly choose a winner on December 6th.

Because Blurb are total rockstars, they're also giving you 25% off your total book order through December 12th with promo code GIFTIDEA.

  1. I've made one blurb book before as a gift, I think they are a lot of fun and am also thinking of using these books instead of a normal photo album :)

  2. Oh! I made a photo book once! Last year, I got a bunch of photos of my new nephew and niece and made an A is for ____ book. (A was for Aunty, obviously.) It's nice because little kids can look at the books, unlike a normal photo album. And I loved that I could order 3 copies, so both Moms and Grandma got one for Christmas presents (and should the inevitable happen, I can just order another!)

  3. I love the idea of photo books. MUCH better than printing out pictures and finding the right photo album to fit them into.

  7. Yay blurb books! I've been meaning to make a book of my trip to Iceland. This would be the perfect kick in the butt to get it done! :)

  9. Oooh! Would love to create a photo book! I have over 3000 pics from my euro trip that would look better on a coffee table than on my hard drive.

  10. WHAT? Canadian readers? Darn it. :-) I think I have used Shutterfly in the past for photo books. They are pretty cool.

  11. I LOVE Blurb! We used them to make our own guest book for our wedding. And I just used them again to make a (VERY BIG) photo book of Gavin's first year. I'm about to begin making Gavin's second year book ... if only I could finish in time to make use of that code. Wish it was for your American readers, too...

  13. I have never used blurb, but my camera goes everywhere with me and I am always in need to a way to organize and display my photos!
