2012

Therapy and yoga helped me beat the postpartum bullshit that almost wrecked me.

I went back to a job that was so SO bad for me and when things went sideways I was strong enough to walk away.

I welcomed my first nephew.

I celebrated my kid's first birthday.

I decided I wanted to become a doula and started my training.

I made marmalade.

I ate too much chocolate, watched too much tv, and spent too much money on music. I regret none of it.

Happy New Year, lovelies. I can't wait to see what happens in 2013.

  1. Therapy and yoga huh? I might have to try that. This parenting thing is no joke. I'm so glad things turned around for you, and I'd love to see you post more about the doula training. Happy 2013!

  2. I'm so excited to hear about your doula training. I've been looking at nutritionist training and some holistic healing classes and it's getting me excited about 2013.

I can't wait to see how much more awesome your life is going to get. :)

  5. I just signed up for a CMA info session, I'm going to find an affordable counsellor, and I've quit Facebook for the month of January to encourage me to stop comparing myself to everyone else.
    Here's to 2013!

  6. You're in training to become a doula? I LOVE that! I'm about to give birth to my first child any second now, and we hired a doula several months ago. Such a good idea. It should be standard practice for all pregnant women. Did you have one during your pregnancy/birth, is that how you knew you wanted to pursue it?
