If We Were Children I Would Bake You A Mud Pie

Things currently making my heart sing:

All of the sweet comments and emails you guys have sent regarding my last post. You are all rockstars. I hadn't written about the seizures because there wasn't much to say about it. It sucks. It's kind of scary. It's extremely inconvenient (my driver's licence has been suspended until I have a clear brain scan.) And it feels slightly less scary today after writing about it. Thank you for reminding me why I love blogging.

Fantastic Mr. Fox. I rarely go to the movies but last night Shawn convinced me to go see Fantastic Mr. Fox with him and a few friends. It blew my mind. I spent half the movie grinning like a fool, not because the movie was particularly funny but because it made me so happy.

One of my favourite feelings in the world: the clean sheets, clean pyjamas, clean Hillary amalgam. I am currently in bed after a brutal workout. I came home and put clean linens on the bed, took a hot shower, and put on my comfiest pyjamas. I am a happy bunny.

The Them Crooked Vultures album. Dudes. It rocks my effing world.

What's putting a spring in your step and a smile on your face today?

  1. Glee! It totally made me happy today!

I want to see Fantastic Mr Fox and no one will go with me... sad! :-( Maybe I'll just go by myself!

Hope you get the cleared brain scan soon, and I'll be thinking about you!

  2. I love Them Crooked Vultures! Dave Grohl is a genius!

I hope they are able to sort the brain chemistry out quick like and the neuro can help get you back on the path to driving.

  3. I really hope they're able to sort everything out soon, I'll keep praying for you.

I bought David the TCV album for Christmas and it arrived in the post this week; he totally knows what it is (because I had to stop him buying it for himself!) and HOLY WHINY about not being able to have it yet!!

I'm hoping to see Mr. Fox tonight - glad to hear it's every bit as wonderful as I was hoping :)

  4. I am just catching up here, and I am keeping my fingers crossed for a clear brain scan. Although I wouldn't be surprised if they ask you to come back for more tests - you know, hoping to score another view of the goods.

I cannot wait to see Mr. Fox. EEEE!

  5. Well nothing yet but I am glad to see someone is happy. There are somethings blogging is good for I agree. For a while there it was just a way for everyone I didn't want to read to keep track of me.

  6. I started listening to Them Crooked Vultures a couple weeks ago and fell in love! I'm quite pleased.

Also? Are you getting the same delicious sunshine in Vancouver that we're getting down here in Seattle? I'm loving it.

  7. Today we had sunshine and spectacularly warm weather. Totally made me happy.

I also love the feeling of going to bed clean in clean sheets. Delicious.

  9. There's a spring in my step today because I know that you're going to get the all-clear re:the brain scan :)
Also, Sam's sister is going to have a baby any day now, and I'm anxiously awaiting it so I can poke it and nibble it's cuteness :D

  10. Clear skies and sunshine because it seems so rare in the winter with the short days and rainy days.

Also, when my friends (like you) are happy! Big hugs!
