The Butterflies Are Passive Aggressive And Put Their Problems On The Shelf But They're Beautiful

So how did the puppies do with day one of our new, stricter regime?

I was in the bedroom with Stella last night when Shawn came storming in holding Wolfgang. Shawn threw him into his crate and slammed the door and it wasn't until he turned around that I saw the giant pee mark on his jeans.

Shawn was sitting on the couch and Wolfgang came over for what Shawn thought was a cuddle. Oh no, it was no cuddle. Wolfgang urinated all over Shawn. Shawn jumped up and Wolfgang continued to pee all over the couch and floor.

So, uhh .... anyone want a free puppy?

  1. OH MY! Sorry to say it, but you have some serious issues with doggy dominance in your household. I would hire a professional trainer stat. You'll be so thankful you did.

  4. Shoes and pee on the pants? All within a couple days? Uhhh, that's why we adopted a year old dog who had already been overtrained. Girlfriend needs no intervention. Mental note, should SoMi ever meet Wolfgang and Stella, we will expect her to backtrack immediately. hahah.

  5. Duuuude, could you tell your puppies that they are so making me not want a dog? And I've been waiting and waiting till we had the space and lived close enough to get home early enough to have time for one.

  6. OH DUDE. I just picture the response MY Sean would have if this happened to him... That is not cool. Not cool at all. What's up with your puppies, lady?

  7. Eww, that is awful. Yesterday must have been dogs pee on people day. My co-worker's dog walked up to her like she was a tree, lifted his leg, and tried to pee on her.

  9. Oh, Wolfgang. Be nice to your Mom and Dad; they hold the treats.

  10. Oh man, oh man, oh man. I feel you COMPLETELY! We're in an on-going battle with our cat, Mila, over peeing on our bed. Hopefully you puppy-pee problems are solved more easily than ours. (Prozac twice a day...eek!) Good luck!

  11. Ohh, I have no suggestions. So far Henry has only had one accident in the house and it was totally my fault for not getting a 7 week old puppy outside as soon as he woke up!

  12. Awww, that is so funny and so not funny at the same time! He must be protesting the stricter rules... But he is waaaaay too cute to be upset with for a long time. That happens with my puppies... especially after their latest round of dumpster diving in my trash!

  13. Aw Lady- give it some time. But yikes.

A good book you might like is "The Dog Listener" by Jan Fennell - there's an edition that has a 30 day plan and answers frequently asked questions. It's been around since the 70s and is an amazing resource. I'm sure you can preview it from your library <3
